Both Wakanda and Atlantis are hidden civilizations with advanced technology and increased militaristic abilities that decided to separate themselves from the rest of the world for their own safety, and in a way, out of fear. Wakanda feared that their technology would be abused. Atlantis feared that surface dwellers would come and desecrate the mythical city just as they did so many years ago. And yet their fears escalate even further when these two once-hidden nations clash with each other.

Wakanda and Atlantis have a shockingly intertwined history. Wakanda is the only county in the world with access to Vibranium. However, rumors of its power spread throughout the world, and Namor’s human father was sent searching for this rare material in Antarctica...

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has added Dominique Thorne to its cast, the actress who will be playing Ironheart in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thorne had previously been announced as the MCU's Riri Williams for the hero's self-titled Ironheart series coming to Disney+. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed to ComicBook.com that Thorne will make her MCU debut as Ironheart ahead of the release of her self-titled series.

"We're shooting Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, right now, and the character of Riri Williams, you will meet in Black Panther 2 first," Feige said in an interview surrounding the release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. "She started shooting, I think, this week before her Ironheart series."

Supposedly Letiticia Wright is done with the MCU after this film. Some are speculating that her on-set injuries were worse than initially reported, others are saying it's because she refuses to get vaccinated and Disney isn't allowing anyone unvaccinated on sets anymore

Either way, time to forget about not recasting T'Challa.

I feel like everyone is on the same page that although Boseman was amazing casting, it's time to bring someone in.

I'm not trying to speak out of turn here, but just making a wild assumption, cause I'm just a fan.

Supposing Chadwick was still around, but did not pass away... but suppose he got really ill due to cancer and could no longer continue the role, I feel like he would want someone else to take over the role of T'Challa because the character is bigger and a huge part of comic history versus them just... doing whatever they decide to do in this movie. Offscreen kill? Open with a funeral? Whatever.
