Doable if they pull multiverse shenanigans.

Marvel has to make a decision sooner or later anyway. Are they going to recast characters or are those characters gone when the actors are? Comic books go on forever, regular people age out or go do other things.

Rumor: Tenoch Huerta (Narcos: Mexico) Cast as Namor
https://www.theilluminerdi.com/2021/...-tenoch-namor/
Leaked SynopsisSpoiler: show
That’s actually a really interesting take. Never thought of making Atlantis a foil to Wakanda.
It's probably going to take a lot of cues from Avengers vs X-Men, which led to a pretty long term storyline of T'Challa wanting to straight up murder Namor.
Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum/I May Destroy You) Joins the Cast

Rumor is she has been cast as Ororo Monroe/Storm.
potentially spoilery confirmation of a character, although Feige openly mentioned it in an interview
Spoiler: show
Supposedly Letiticia Wright is done with the MCU after this film. Some are speculating that her on-set injuries were worse than initially reported, others are saying it's because she refuses to get vaccinated and Disney isn't allowing anyone unvaccinated on sets anymore
Either way, time to forget about not recasting T'Challa.

I feel like everyone is on the same page that although Boseman was amazing casting, it's time to bring someone in.
I'm not trying to speak out of turn here, but just making a wild assumption, cause I'm just a fan.
Supposing Chadwick was still around, but did not pass away... but suppose he got really ill due to cancer and could no longer continue the role, I feel like he would want someone else to take over the role of T'Challa because the character is bigger and a huge part of comic history versus them just... doing whatever they decide to do in this movie. Offscreen kill? Open with a funeral? Whatever.
They’re probably pissed the hell off they killed Michael B. Jordan off in the first movie. Would’ve been a dope redemption story of him taking over the role.
Eh, all they needed to "fix" that was find another patch of purple flowers growing somewhere because of the snap, or whatever. Dunk MBJ's body in them and magically bring him back.
