Eh
I'd rather they continue existing continuity for once rather than reboot for the 7th time.

I wonder if the new 007 would will keep the “seducing” type that James Bond did in every movie or will they not to it “because it’s a women “
From what I heard no. In fact James will supposedly try to seduce 007 and fail.
if 007 isn't screwing and using wacky Q inventions, why even make the movie
They're saying shes the new 007, but the old crew is still there. This makes me think this is more a plot point for James, and not a new direction for the series. A "I'm the spy James Bond" even if hes not 007.

Or a budget reason
Bond, Jane Bond.
No thanks
In before James Bond is a code name like 007, and they finally reveal every new James Bond is a new person taking up the mantle like a British Batman instead of a spy named James Bond.

People have been theorizing that for decades, if they had done it while Moore was still alive they could've had a movie where George Lazenby turns up dead, leading a frantic Timothy Dalton to find Daniel Craig and reveal that someone is hunting all the former 007s. They find Roger Moore and prevent an attempt on his life from a masked assassin, and the current and two former 007s team up to track him down. Eventually they discover that it's Pierce Brosnan behind the mask, but he's acting on orders from the head of Spectre, Sean Connery.

Per the publication, fans learn Bond has retired from the agency at the start of the movie. However, he is reportedly called back for duty to help deal with a new crisis.
"There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says 'Come in 007', and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman," a "movie insider" tells the outlet. "It's a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond, but he's been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman."
While the source says Bond is "sexually attracted to the new female 007 and tries his usual seduction tricks," he is "baffled when they don't work." The insider also claims that the term "Bond girls" has been removed from use and replaced with "Bond women."
"This is a Bond for the modern era who will appeal to a younger generation while sticking true to what we all expect in a Bond film," the insider later adds. "There are spectacular chase sequences and fights, and Bond is still Bond but he's having to learn to deal with the world of #MeToo."

There was a fan theory that we should treat each different Bond actor as a different James Bond. That the name Bond was just a moniker that went with the 007 agent assignment and that at the start of Casino Royale we just saw James inheriting the title as the newest and latest Bond.
Skyfall shit on that theory though.
I mean, both could be true itd just be bad writing. Could be that Bond is passed along with the 007 title, but Craig could also just be named James Bond.

i wouldn't be shocked if the original 007 was actually named james bond, then it just became the code name for every subsequent 007
