"Pro 76 streamers"..?
"Pro 76 streamers"..?
ie people who like the game, sorry
Diehard fan of what? An early access MMO-lite with shitty graphics and minimal content with a Fallout skin stapled on top of it? On top of the usual helping of Creation Engine bugs that can't be modded out now.
This shit ain't Fallout, but then again neither was 4.
Fallout 4 was fun. I really enjoyed it.
This looks like every part of Fallout 4 I didn't enjoy.
Fallout 4 was an ok game, but it was a RPG minus the roleplaying and thus not Fallout.
Even with the dramatic changes between the OG Fallout games and 3/New Vegas, they were still very much in line with the series especially in terms of offer good roleplaying opportunities and meaningful choices. As opposed to 4 and it's Yes/Snarky Yes/Reluctant Yes/No (but really Yes) dialogue trees.
I wish it had a demo
I feel like it's "ok" as far as games go. Nothing special, but with a whole heap of issues piled on. Luckily there are already mods to fix some of them, and it seems some people from Bethesda themselves post now and then on Reddit and are taking in feedback. Seems there are some fixes for things coming soon™: https://redd.it/9xr1qi
I hope the multiplayer aspect of it and the fact we can't fix bugs ourselves lights a fire under their asses and gets them to fix things instead of just leaving them as is. There are some really bad bugs in the game that need to go ASAP.
You do know what company you're talking about right?
There have been bugs in the engine since Morrowind that are still there. I mean, when they were doing the 50 different rerereleases of Skyrim they could have easily integrated the Unofficial Patch into the game, but never did.
buying Bethesda games only perpetuates the stereotype that Bethesda develops good games
They publish some good games tho
My favorite part was as soon as the video finished, I unmuted the TV and a FO76 commercial was on lol
is it worth $35? its going to be 41% off on gmg lul
I'd say $35 is borderline. If you have people to play with probably otherwise this is a $20 bargain bin steamer
Its only worth $35 if you have a crew that is garunteed to play with you for at least a few months. Playing for 2 weeks because your boys dropped the game in 4 days because its a boring, lifeless "create-your-own-fun" husk of a game.
Ok, I've sat and played this for a few days now. The good. It's prettier. It's not as gloomy as FO4. And despite it being Bethesda I haven't had a single CTD since I started.
Now the bad.
Enemies are boring. There's very little variety. Quests lack any real punch. There's no real storyline going on here. Enemies are nothing more than bullet sponges. Slightly better than the enemies in The Division. Weapons break far too frequently. Aluminum and adhesive are like finding the fucking Grail. Building your own settlement is pretty shitty imo. Feral ghouls have a really bad habit of moving at fucking light speed in packs. There's never any real sense of powering up since the enemies are so spongy.
This feels like a shitty cash grab and it's a game that's clearly not even done.
Its a "make your own adventure" sandbox, which really means its an unfinished, low-effort cashgrab with a bunch of random mobs and random collectable junk to be collected and killed forever. You can't even insta-build structures and materials on the fly for somewhat-interesting cat and mouse scenarios like in Fortnite or other open-world builders.
Its just the laziness that gets me. Let that goddamn engine die, for christ's sakes. Put it out to pasture. Its done.
Has been done since Oblivion tbh
At least Bethesda finally learned how to uncap the frame rate without breaking the physics.
Only took them what, 16 years?
