You're not wrong, but both systems have very slim offerings on launch.

Afaik between both systems it's literally just Demon's Souls as what could pass for a system seller, which is still simply a remake of an old game. Of the top of my head I don't really think any other big name first party games from either company that has an actual release date right now other then 202X.

Unfortunate, but I find it pretty funny that the same people who shit on Microsoft for cancelling Scalebound are going to shit on them for delaying Halo.

If it makes a better game, I'm fine to wait for it. There's plenty of shit to play in the interim.
