Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has unveiled a new trailer featuring further details of the Story Mode in upcoming title Jump Force.

A sudden merging of the Jump World and the Real World has caused chaos across Earth, with invading villains leaving a trail of destruction and panic in their wake.

To tackle this new threat, a new team of heroes, named the Jump Force, is formed by Director Glover featuring the strongest fighters from across the manga universe. Players will create their own hero, customising their look and fighting moves with elements across all manga franchises, before joining up with the Jump Force to stop the villains in their tracks.

The trailer also provides a first glimpse at the Onyx Book, a powerful device suspected of having something to do with the mysterious merging of the two worlds.

In addition, the trailer also features four new playable Jump Force characters revealed this week:

• Asta, from Black Clover. A stubborn child wielding a unique anti-magic sword

• Trunks, from Dragon Ball. The son of Vegeta and Bulma, he possesses the incredible strength of his father, with the intelligence of his mother

• Boa Hancock, from One Piece. The captain of the Kuja Pirates and the only female member of the Shichibukai

• Renji Abarai, from Bleach. A highly talented swordsman

DLC Character Line-up

The full lineup of DLC characters for Jump Force have been revealed today by Bandai Namcoc. The characters hail from a number of popular manga series including Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, and My Hero Academia. More information regarding the release date of these characters will be coming at a later date.

Also released today is a trailer for upcoming DLC character All Might from My Hero Academia. The trailer for the true “Symbol of Peace” shows off the hero’s impressive range of hard-hitting and quick skills including his ultimate attack, the United States of Smash!

In addition to All Might and the previously announced Seto Kaiba, Jump ForceE will receive the following DLC characters:

Biscuit Krueger (Hunter x Hunter) – A treasure hunter who hides her true age behind a young appearance. While her original form is that of a muscular adult woman, she prefers to stay in her child form to her advantage in gathering intel and deceiving opponents while in combat.

Majin Buu (Dragon Ball Z) – A fearsome enemy of Goku and the Z Fighters. Majin Buu’s endless appetite and lust for destruction make him a terrible threat.

Madara Uchiha (Naruto) – A legendary leader of the Uchiha clan and founder of Hidden Leaf Village. He plans to rule the Ninja World as a god and is resurrected as an unstoppable ninja during the Forth Great Ninja War.

Trafalgar D. Water Law (One Piece) – A friendly rival to Luffy of the Straw Hat Pirates. Law is part of a group known as the Worst Generation as well as being the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates.

Hitsugaya Toshiro (Bleach) – A captain of the 10th division of the Gotei 13, a group of Soul Reapers governing the flow of souls between the human world and afterlife realm known as Soul Society.

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Bleach) – Formerly the 6th Espada in Sosuke Aizen’s army. Grimmjow’s brutal and sadistic personality makes him one of the major antagonists of the Bleach series.

Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia) – A student in Class 1-A in the U.A. High School. Katsuki is Midoriya’s on-and-off again friend and rival. Katsuki’s Quirk allows him to utilize explosion attacks through special sweat glands in his palms.

All DLC characters can be purchased individually or part of the Jump Force Character Pass. The Character Pass retails for $29.99 and includes nine playable DLC characters with four days of exclusive early access to those characters before their official release, as well as new abilities and costume elements to further Avatar customization.

Madara Uchiha (Naruto Shippuden) and Toshiro Hitsugaya (Bleach), along with the Whole Cake Island stage, will be available this Friday, November 15, 2019 as early access to anyone who owns the JUMP FORCE Character Pass. The DLC content will be available for all JUMP FORCE owners on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

Switch Edition & Season 2 Announced

Leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment America has announced Jump Force Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch console, set to release through the Americas. Take control of mighty heroes and evil villains from popular manga franchises spanning over 50 years of the influential Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, published by Shueisha. Battle with or against characters from Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Naruto, and many other franchises in a knockout brawl for Earth’s survival.

Jump Force Deluxe Edition comes to the Nintendo Switch with a roster of over 50 playable characters hailing from 16 different Weekly Shonen Jump franchises including all previously released DLC characters from the Season 1 Characters Pass. Players can create a team of three using their favorite characters or discover a new favorite series with the breadth of character options available. Players also have the ability to create their own unique avatar to use in both Story and Versus Modes.

Play against friends and foes through both offline and online battles. A new offline 3 vs. 3 mode is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of Jump Force Deluxe Edition, allowing for six friends to each control a character and battle it out together. In this mode each player controls a character on their team of three and will enter the fight when their character is tagged into the battle. Strategic thinking and knowing when to tag players in and out of the battle will be key to success.

“The casual pick up and play nature and multiplayer focus of Jump Force Deluxe Edition lends itself perfectly to Nintendo Switch,” said Stephen Akana, Senior Brand Manager for Bandai Namco Entertainment America. “The large roster of players, explosive battles, and new features means limitless fun for players.”

The Jump Force Character Pass 2 has also been announced today for all versions of the game for $17.99. Character Pass 2 will come with five new playable characters, the first being Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia, and the rest coming from the following manga franchises: YuYu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, Bleach, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. More information regarding Character Pass 2 will be released at a later date.
