"for a fee of kupo nuts or mog coins"
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm no I don't like that at all
I love how the kupo nut icon is the same as the one you get in-game but 100% wont be able to use for the app
Thought they went silent about this for a reason. Guess not
The fact you can't use this to send your retainers on ventures is super dumb.
I thought that was the main attraction to this app.
Yeah seems fucking useless.
If you can't really do anything really useful with it anyway, this is just another attack surface :/
In true SE fashion, they will add functionality that should have been there from the beginning slowly and over a number of years.
You mean stop updating it when the next expansion comes out? (lol Eorzea libra app)
I'm not a fan of the whole leaving unpaid masses to do the dirty work but I'm pretty sure if they allowed a mobile API to happen one of the people behind Garlond Data/XIVDB would get something far better working.
But we all know how these devs operate by now.
Paid Premium Service is Now Available - $5/mohttps://www.dualshockers.com/final-f...emium-service/With the release of update 1.02 of the Android version, Square Enix made the premium service available for purchase. It can be activated in the Mog Station for a $5.00 monthly fee. At the moment there aren’t multi-month options available.
The premium option allows players to organize their Chocobo saddlebags and their retainer inventory directly from the app, doubles the number of kupo nuts per daily login (two instead of one), and increases the number of kupo nuts you can store to ten. Kupo nuts are required to list items on the market boards or to purchase them.
On top of that, users who pay for the premium option receive one additional retainer and one additional Chocobo saddlebag.
Has anyone used the app since they installed it? lmao.
I swear the only thing it'll be good for is bugging people at fan fest since you don't have to hand out your phone number.
Probably never going to use the app. It's nothing but a poorly-designed cash grab that preys on the casual glamour addicts who are already dumping their whole allowance/paycheck into the mog station.
This thing was supposed to have been in development for years and this is the best they can do.
Every companion app that I've ever used for a game comes with inventory management as a baseline feature (if included of course). Fucking Warframe (a F2P game) lets you craft and send out your retainer equivalents from it, and it doesn't cost a dime.
