Any advice for an office chair with a headrest?
Literally scroll up...
There are no Aerons that come with with headrests, so scrolling up won't help him.
Those are add-ons you buy and attach, they aren't actual Herman Miller products.
They are great. Didn't know they weren't official they are identical material.
They feel awesome now that I know this I might get one for mine lol.
Okay then, @ person requesting office chair with a headrest get an Aeron and buy the 3rd party headrest lol.
One of my old offices actually had Aerons but they didn't exactly impress me. On most of them the foam across the back was ripped up and most of the arms were busted as well. Granted I dont know how old they were and they were all plastic, the metal frames hold up better I hope?

Whatever you call this then.
Yeah, they are still real liberal about that warranty as well. My coworkers have definitely sent chairs back for refurb that we found in the office after a company went bankrupt. Cost? Zero dollars.
My mom got a bunch of sample chairs when their office was changing buildings. She was able to take home an Aeron and another chair from some other company.
I spent all my time playing FFXI in that Aeron. It was always comfortable and nothing ever broke on it. I believe it's still at my dad's or in his storage. I should ask him about it when I can finally get a real desk set up in the new house.
I finally got a new chair, ended up with a Gesture because I couldn't find a retailer with Aerons, refurbs were going for 700€+ and I'm not spending that kind of money for used furnishing.
I'm pleased with the chair, the arm rests are amazing (I really didn't want padded armrests) , the padding on the seat and back is firm and being able to adjust the seat backwards or forwards is exactly want I needed, my previous chair's seat was too big for my height and I couldn't rest my back fully without the seat hitting the back of my knees, it was really uncomfortable. Also, the reclining function is awesome, it's one of those things you don't know you want until you try them.
Apologies for the necro as i searched before making a new thread.
I received some xmas money, and my 5 year old faux leather chair is almost 100% peeled away, and totally uncomfortable to sit on since it just creates massive amounts of heat. I’m in the market again for a new chair. I’m looking for a budget of around $300 but i don’t mind going a little higher. Honestly i’m intrigued by the gaming/racing chairs that are out now as i’ve sat in a few my friends have and are extremely comfortable. But i’m also looking for a mesh chair since i prefer to have the least amount of heat possible while my fatass sits on them. Lol
So i’m looking at some DX Racer or Vertagear seats, but i’m very open to any recommendations with a great price and pretty much what fits my description. I’m not extremely picky, but it’s either a racing/gaming chair or a mesh chair is what i would like to have.
How ironic that you post this as I'm shopping for a chair for my wife but we're in $50 ish territory. She doesn't use her chair often but it was my prior and after about six years it's about dead.
Not sure if Rakuten would have what you're looking for, but they are doing 20% off site wide today. Also, promo should be running for $30 back in Rakuten Super Points checking out with MasterCard.
Sorry for the slight bump, but Aeron's are on sale for under $500 on eBay

Not sure how common it is, but there it is if anyone is interested.

You can buy direct. This is a pretty good price for the Aeron. These are professional resellers, I'd buy from em.
