Starfleet Academy is the most no-brainer project that hasn't been done yet.

Following rumors comes from 4Chan & one of the Captain Marvel/Rise of Skywalker leakers.

Star Trek's future with CBS:AA/Viacom Streaming is in limbo. The franchise hasn't been the financial success that Viacom had hoped for. Discovery will end with season 3. All animated productions will last one season. Picard season 2 and the planned Pike show are on hold with Viacom wanting to see if Picard sees a better response by seasons end. Section 31 isn't happening and Alex Kurtzman may be taken off the entire Star Trek project. Merchandising has also been a disappointment. Viacom is looking at Ira Steven Behr (DS9) and/or Ronald D. Moore (TNG/DS9/Voyager) to replace Kurtzman.
And I was just about to get invested in Picard =(

That’s the worst part. Took this long to finally get some post-Nemesis story, I hope Picard stays.
Aren't some of the books post-Nemesis? STO too but thats non-canon(nn?)... Either way its nice to have as cinematic sequel I can understand that.
Picard had been absolutely baller through 4 episodes wtf

I imagine its because its on CBS all access. only trekkies are going to watch it there. If it had a spot on a normal channel I think it would garner a larger audiance.
I cut the cord so long ago I had no idea. I figured it was on cable too

I think it is outside of the US.
It's also on AFN, which was how I caught the first 3 episodes while out on deployment.
