Anything with Joaquin Phoenix is a must-see for me.
I wonder how much of the movie will have him wearing the Joker costume
The teaser looks really cool to me. I previously had no interest in this but I’m down for it now.
Trailer was amazing. I am hoping this movie can work.

I'd imagine that they're going to put in the One Bad Day speech towards the end.
If this is great and it turns out her name is Martha, we need to talk about complete redemption for DCs self trolling

The trailer looks good, but like others have already said, I really hope they don't make the Joker out to be some kind of sympathetic tragic anti-hero or blah blah. I want to walk out of the theatre with a disturbed feeling of "what the fuck did I just watch?" over me.
Standalone Film, Doesn't Draw Inspiration from any Particular Comic Storyline

Bullshit, it's clearly influenced by The Killing Joke.

Trailer Wednesday.
Yeah with all the clips so far...I have to call bullshit like Zealot did. It's taking inspiration from 'The Killing Joke'. Not the entire thing of course, but damn...it takes a decent chunk from it.
Is the killing joke the one where he captures batgirl and sexually assaults her?
Either way this actually looks interesting.
Rapes Batgirl, kills Robin I think.
This doesn't look like a comic book movie in the slightest and I feel like that works for this version of the Joker.
And paralyzes her.
Alan Moore has said Joker didn't rape Barbara, but he did commit a pretty vile sexual assault taking the pictures he did after shooting her.

I've never read a comic book in my life, but I thought he didn't care about materialistic/sexual desires?
