Reviews are rolling in (33) and currently sitting @ 88%. Some 'critics' call it a 'triumph,' a 'work of art,' a 'tour de force,' and others a 'pile of trash' lol.

I was thinking this was coming out on August 4th with the sudden rush of reviews and news, but then I noticed the release date in the title. Reviews usually come out closer to the movie's release, don't they? Two months ahead of time seems like it'll give too much time for the buzz and hype to die down.

It had Joker as the title. Overhype was going to happen, just how I have a feeling ultra-dissapointment will occur in the majority of movie goers expecting a super hero movie.

Apparently there's extra security/undercover cops in some movie theaters bc they're afraid people will magically just turn into the Joker and start killing peeps. This is just fucking insanity. Kinda reminds me when my mom used to think rock was Satan's work; it was my fault for showing her rob zombie/manson vids lol. Movie was good, had a good time, btw.

Century Theater in so cal closed early due to credible information that a shooting would happen. Appears to be open today and no cancelled showings.

I was expecting a shitty DC movie. I got a pretty damned good supervillain origin story. I find no flaws from an origin story point-of-view, and The Joker is probably the most famous villain of all time. So Kudos to DC.
