Company have bonus so I'm picking up smash and looking for my Game Cube controllers. Found the Wii U adapter and I can't find any of the controllers in my controller stash so now it's time to box hunt.

Legitimately thinking I might've left them with someone in the Navy when we were having smash or something. Fuck. I got 3 GC Controllers. 2 OG and one that came w/ the smash bundle.

Getting forced onto overnight shift starting second week in January. Only upside is my days off remain similar. Every year the shift bid comes up so I had lowest seniority of course lol. It was nice knowing you day shift.

So I’ll be going from Wednesday 12noon -6 pm/ Thurs-Sat 6am-6pm to Wednesday 6pm-Midnight and Thurs-Sat 6pm -6am.
At least there’s a 5% bump in pay for overnights plus there’s always a ton of overtime available.

I know what you mean , when I started this job the 12 hour shifts were rough but now my body has adapted. So now it gets to relearn hours lol.
Though I plan to work 1-2 days overtime after I adjust and I don’t mind the shift itself.

Absolute FWP. I'm so tilted by Amazon Logistics. They are straight garbage in my area compared to USPS or FedEx. I ordered a package last week that was finally restocked on Monday. It's set to arrive on this past Wednesday. Wednesday comes and goes and apparently Amazon failed to deliver. This seems odd, since my apartments have one of those Amazon Box Hubs right at the entrance so even their most clueless drivers should've been able to figure that one out.

So I call up customer service to see what "additional actions" I can take to make sure the package actually gets delivered next time. Apparently there's something wrong with the box hub and the driver didn't bother to try walking down the street to my actual apartment (which is listed on the delivery address) or dropping the package off at the management office (which is how USPS and FedEx actually deliver everything). So, I ask the CSR to add a note to the delivery instructions telling the driver to just drop it off in either of those two places if the box hub isn't working.

As soon as I hang up with them, I get a call from the distribution center. This guy must've gotten an update on his computer telling him to get this damn package out today or something because he was very insistent about the fact that his driver had already left the distribution center and wouldn't be making any more runs today. I say cool, dude. No problem. Just deliver it tomorrow. I don't actually care about it getting here right this second. Just deliver it instead of returning it to sender (which is what happened to my last two amazon deliveries after 1 failed attempt). He says okay, okay, no problem, it'll go out tomorrow (Friday) for sure.

Fast forward to 11:30 pm last night. I see the order status has changed on my phone. Instead of "Failed to deliver," my order is now marked as "Return to Sender: Refund pending." What in the actual fuck. This is the one thing I told them not to do. Of course I call CS again and they transfer me directly to Amazon Logistics. Logistics, of course, has absolutely no idea why anyone would mark Return to Sender on a package that's only had 1 delivery attempt but apparently it had already left my local distribution center so the best they can do is put in a replacement order with one-day shipping. Okay. Cool. Whatever. Just as long as it gets delivered.

This morning, I see the update on my phone. My package is expected in two weeks (after Christmas) because the seller ran out of stock again. Fuck this shit.

I'm not sure I have much of an option when I buy things on Amazon with Prime shipping. It seems to be a toss-up who gets the delivery each time.

This is one of my biggest gripes with Amazon prime. Sometimes they send stuff via OnTrac and OnTrac consistently fails to deliver, loses packages, or delivers to the wrong address. They suck balls. I wish I could pick a carrier when choosing shipping method.

It's not really just that they are fucking up basically everything this holiday season. Check out there social media.... lots of mad people over every conceivable issues and then some and consistent failure to actually fix said problems...

Speaking of USPS it's trash too. So to go back to the claim dispute with my credit card they ended up sending me a letter on the last date for me to provide additional info the 4th telling me it's too late now. And it just got here yesterday.

Another fail. I normally have enough socks to last me 2 weeks. I did laundry last Friday but have been busy so haven't put away the socks... and today I'm on last pair. Wut. Go thru and yep only 8 pair somehow. So seems like last Friday someone took like ~ pairs of my socks when I wasn't looking. See this is why I hate communal washrooms

Picked up a new phone, ordered the case through amazon, but now my wireless charger wont work.
Case got a failed delivery notice and i had to re order it. 2nd amazon package in a month ive had prime shipping not get delivered. Last year around christmas all my stuff i had 1 day shipping paid on got delivered a weeks late because of the holiday closings and nothing being open in time.

My go to used book/movie/games store closing down. Went there after work today to "closing down all sales final" signs. I've still got Half-Price Books at least.

Also, all but official I have Psoriasis. Some small spots started showing up all along my right arm and had two big spots on my back right near both armpits. It was really bad as far as pain when when I first noticed it but hasnt been nearly as bad since. Gotta schedule a dr appointment though.

Ugh I feel you on the psoriasis. I don't have psoriasis but for the last month or so I have been having a massive allergic reaction all over my body. It is like dermatitis but a million times worse. Itchy flakey skin all over. It is miserable and I can't sleep. I have three appointments with an allergy specialist next week they are going to test me for allergies to see if it is being caused by that. Next stop is the dermatologist.

This sucks hard. My childhood bookstore closed down last year because the building jacked up rent by 15%. People tried to rally around but the couple that owned it were ready to retire anyway. Still hurts.
