No media can ever make up a near decade in hype. They just waited too long lol

Bill and Ted pulled it off
At the end of 2, Rei was cooking Dinner for Gendo in her abandoned apartment block and he was on his way to have said dinner with her. Asuka had changed places with Rei to do a test in unit 3 so Rei could cook said dinner, and it goes berserk and plays out like it did in the series with Toji.
The ending of Part of the reason part 3 is le suck and reviled is that instead of continuing this new story line following the rest of the series past the 10th angel, it does a 14 YEAR time skip and NOTHING is explained, to either the audience or the protagonist. The barest framework is given for why things are happening and the whole thing can be summed up as basically "well, that happened". I am very bitter about 3 being such a let down if no one could tell.
Part 4 looks like it might, once the whole thing is out, at least justify 3's bullshit but that remains to be seen.
If this is coming out in theaters, I'm just so worried about assholes spoiling it in places long before we can ever see it legally outside of Japan. For something that has taken this long to come out, and something people have been waiting for for so long, there just always seems to be people that want to ruin it for others.
It's going to be on Crunchyroll just a few days after it comes out in theaters. Just avoid anime websites and threads. Shouldn't be that hard.
Speaking of which does Crunchyroll have a smart tv app? I would rather watch it on a bigger screen.
Yeah, they have
Going to have to rewatch the first three. All I remember is really enjoying the first two movies and the direction they were taking them in, only to get spat on my face with that horrendous third entry.
Literally undid every single bit of character development and reduced everyone to just antsy retards who refuse to sit down and tell Shinji wtf is going on.
Yeah, the third was inexplicably w t f.
Movie is delayed again. The Japanese government has declared a state of emergency until February 7th, so they're looking to figure when to release it now (was scheduled for January 23rd).
They should just release it on BD since we wont get to see it anytime soon otherwise
Welp
Part of me is saying they should just ignore the theatre release for now and go digital only, and then do a theatre release when the country is back to operating normally, but I guess that less people would go then maybe...
How did Demon Slayer make that much money during a pandemic? lol
Think theres a few reasons really, now I could be wrong on these events so someone with more understanding can correct me. Was one of the first anime movies to premier right after theatres reopened in japan, the movie itself its pretty much season 2 of Demon Slayer itself, so its an actual cannon/continuation of the anime TV series, the show itself was pretty popular when it was airing and the art is amazing in the fight scenes and with the budget of a movie could they be done any better than the TV anime, people loved the theme songs for the show.
Adding to the ‘just release it digitally’ crowd.
I’m going to watch it on the high seas a year before there’s a legitimate way to see it anyway,
At this point I’m convinced the movie sucks incredible ass and the studio is struggling with an existential crisis, no pun intended, in deciding whether or not to release it.
The abomination that was 3.0 creatively put them into a corner they couldn’t get out of.
I mean with how bad 3.0 was, it wouldn't surprise me.
I guess the silver lining is hype is so low from the clusterfuck of the 3rd movie that no one cares much how long it takes this pos to release lol
