I am cautiously optimistic about this season for Tennessee. I talked to a Bama fan recently and he told me, "Your getting a good coach."

FSU AD Stan Wilcox is leaving to take the position of Executive VP of the NCAA. Taking Oliver Luck’s old job. Please don’t snitch on us, Stan!

Jesus, #4?
I'm not. Ill be surprised if Tennessee passes .500.
I would love Tennessee to be competitive again for the sake of SEC East strength. Pruitt is a damned good DC, but I have never really thought he was HC material. Maybe Tennessee will prove me wrong, but I never pegged him as a real option if Richt was fired or resigned and never saw him in the same role Kirby had under Saban. He's just missing something.
Wisconsin at 4 may be more about saying a Big 10 team should be in the playoffs than Wisconsin being the 4th best team. That could be a very deep conference this year even with turmoil at OSU. Wisconsin does pass that early eye test though.
Edit: God damnit. After a clean 2017 with injuries I hope this isn't the start of averaging out. Zamir White (Georgia RB) tore his right ACL in punt coverage practice. He tore it in High School last year as well.
Well, BADGA gonna be down a receiver after Quintez Cephus being charged with raping two women.

The description of drunkenness in that article is extremely Madison campus-area bar.

Seems OSU will determine Meyer's fate tomorrow in a vote. It's thought he is likely to only be suspended and that then waived for "time served".
Georgia and Oregon have agreed to a deal to play in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game at Mercedes Benz Stadium in 2022.
Wait.. are we getting 'bowl' games to start the season now too?
Down two WRs for a bit now
UW and Paul Chryst announce that WR Danny Davis has been suspended for the first two games of the season for his involvement with the Quintez Cephus criminal complaint. Davis will be allowed to practice with the team, but will not be available for games.
OSU trustees have been meeting for like six hours at this point and still no decision on Urban Meyer.
The Reddit thread....errr, six threads...are amazing.
Meyer has been suspended the first three games.
Oregon State
RUTGERS!
TCU
Very surprised it's not time served and no real suspension.
I get that Meyer is skeezy and terrible. And while I would have enjoyed the tears with him being sacked, I never thought this indiscretion was job threatening. He made a dumb call to save the grandson of a mentor some public heat, and 3 games suspended is a fair outcome.
I'm surprised he got off so light considering the way the current climate is right now. I thought they would through him to the wolves.
