It makes sense for both sides. Lawrence is better. Bryant is a senior. I think this is his last chance (i.e. before the next game) to transfer and not have to sit out next year

But also... Clemson has a chance to win the natty and I don't think he has pro prospects. But whatevs, I get wanting to play when you'd be the best option for most teams

He could have just sat out the rest of the year and stayed with the team, practicing, etc, and still transferred (taking this year as redshirt) and played somehwhere else. This was ego/emotion-driven. I wish the guy the best, but I don't understand the decision.
