Third was also Orochimaru's teacher, whereas Kakashi was two generations Orochimaru's junior. By the end of the series, I think that Kakashi could have definitely fought Orochimaru.

The Majority of Boruto is life stuff of small whiney ninja

But there is imo 3 greats arc that needs to be watched

1) Momoshiki Arc (the one from Boruto Movie but remade)
2) I call it Boruto to the past (when he meant young Naruto)
3) The Full Kara Arc there's like 50 ish episode in it but there's some filler in it

Anime is really close to the manga so we can expect some more fillers bullcrap soon

PS momoshiki arc has to be watched to fully understand the Kara arc
