I wondered what that missing emote was going to be lol.
Animal Crossing x Super Mario
Items inspired by the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. game are coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Familiar items like the Super Mushroom and the “?” Block can be ordered in the game as furniture items, so you can place them wherever you want. You can even place multiple Warp Pipes on your island and easily travel between them. The new Super Mario Bros. themed items will be available starting on March 1 following the free update to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game on Feb. 25.
Took them forever to put in other IPs into this game.
Warp pipes sound amazing.
Yeah would've been nice like 9 months ago.
Kinda over the game at this point lol
Same. Tried to get back into the game last month but fell out of it totally. Probably need to completely redo my island to get any interest back into it.
I play once or twice a month to make sure I catch all the critters that are leaving that month. Just missing two diving critters next month (and flies, somehow..) and I should have them all.
Flies you just need to leave out candy from Holloween or rotten turnips. You get ants like 90% of the time so just scare them away and run off screen and back and you'll see them eventually.
Surprise! Nintendo decided to do an extremely limited release on digital items for physical target stores only (and for online Pick-up only). My target site had an error, kicked me out, then it told me it was sold out. Can't switch stores now because the store locator is broken.
It's Hello Kitty stuff that includes new characters and items. I don't play the game much anymore, but my wife wanted the stuff, but Nintendo had to be Nintendo and do something incredibly stupid as Nintendo is want to do and now scalpers likely have 90% of the cards for all this new exclusive stuff.
Maybe someone will scan the cards to the program that lets you make your own amiibos/cards? I know it sucks to not support but the market has been kinda screwed up for gamers for about a year now so them releasing stuff with a low supply is a bit ludicrous at this point. Even if we expect it from Nintendo.
Seems very likely it'll happen.
I have no idea how Target/Nintendo decided to do such a small release considering the popularity over the past year. I tried to get 2 sets this morning (one for me and one for sister) and it sold out before I could get my order through. Went to Target since it said limited availability and it was on my way home from work. A decent number of people that showed up after I got there 5 mins before opening. Poor guy working said they aren't even allowed to sell them in store.
Gonna be a lot of irate people over this today.
Not that anyone cares anymore, but I went to target today (5pm) and there was a large stock of the animal crossing/Sanrio cards available.
Checked my Target this morning and no luck.
On phone so I can't give an accurate timestamp but the direct starts a little after 29:30.
Seems like they went all out for this being the last free update. They also announced a 25 dollar DLC you can buy alone or it comes with the Nintendo Online expansion pass, which will go from 20/year to 50/year if I'm understanding the upgrade correctly.
Spoiled due to phone resolution.
Spoiler: show
2.0 update seems to have dropped early and is out now.
