Nice to see Brock won. Shane winning was actually the third best option, just for the sheer lunacy of it, since the tournament was total shit anyway. Best being Miz winning obviously. Second best being Lashley winning, but only if Hogan would award him the trophy. Was Lio there or no?

Main event going nearly 30 minutes though, yikes. That HHH/Taker gif needs some sort of cartoon sound effects or something. Watching it twice, I'm not even sure what's supposed to be happening in that.

Power Struggle was a pretty good show, especially 4 of the last 5 matches. Jericho's tron had "Best in the world" on it. Dude, do you even have a trophy?

Unlike last year which had a few surprises, this was pretty much as expected.

Jericho retained in a pretty good match. Naito made the save after and Jericho gave the "no rematch!" talk backstage.
Naito over ZSJ and Ishii over Suzuki, strong matches both of them. Those two pairs really work well together.

Goto over Taichi was a match that existed, but at least there was a Shouten Kai. The problem I have with this is that I'm worried it's just a transitional reign so this thing is going to hop around more. Goto still has 6 people that beat him in the G1 that could challenge for that at WK.

R3K pinning SZKG was the call as I figured. I know that they just brought in Shingo, so there were expectations or hopes that they'd win, but the problem with having them win the tournament was that it basically forces SANADA/EVIL to be in the tag title match at WK. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, especially since it doesn't even mean that they have to win WTL, but it creatively puts them in a corner. LIJ beat R3K during the round robin and that could be used as reason to put them in the title match at WK, since they didn't factor into the decision today. It's easy to add teams if they need to.

Kushida vs. Ishimori at WK should be awesome.

Jericho vs. Naito
Okada vs. White
Kushida vs. Ishimori
SZKG vs. R3K vs. LIJ

Just speculating on some other stuff:

Cody vs. Juice, assuming they even remember they made that title and gave it to that guy
Goto vs. Ibushi (Goto's said he wants him next to avenge his loss from the G1)
GoD vs. ???
Some 6man gauntlet

Rambo

Evil/Sanada, Suzuki/ZSJ, Yano/Ishii, Young Bucks (assuming they still work in Japan), Fale, and Ospreay are the people that probably need to fit in the main card somewhere if they're appearing. Taichi, Taguchi, Makabe/Honma/Henare, Finlay, Tacos, Elgin, Yujiro, Page, Marty, and Chase all could be involved in 6-man teams, but most would be perfectly fine in the Rambo. Ospreay being in the NEVER match anyway wouldn't shock me.
