US intelligence services seem to have corroborated it. Now we got senators urging WWE not to do the Crown Jewel event. This timeline doesn’t disappoint.

Trying to convince WWE to do something on moral grounds is a recipe for failure.

That said, assuming WWE does go thru with the show, I could definitely see Kane not being a part of it. A bunch of random carnies sure, but as an actual member of the government now (however small), that's a bad look.

I don't know how many times they've run that gag, but it never fails to make me laugh. Just when you think that they may have learned their lesson, Naito gives them a good reason for them to fall for it all over again.

lol @ that line about Punishment Martinez. Probably just keep him opposite show of Corbin, like they did with Cass. Forget both of those losers. Can someone explain why Dijak is still apparently just slumming it at the PC? Unless they're going to have him do an extremely brief stint on NXT or none at all, I don't know why he's been in Orlando this long and done nothing.

Pretty sure he's been working live events and has had like 2 televised matches.

From what I remember, he wasn't a very good promo so maybe they've been getting that up to snuff before really throwing him out there

He was a part of the last NXT tapings and not as an enhancement talent so it looks like they are getting ready to use him. There were rumors they just weren't sure what to do with him as there was talk of him being the Undisputed Era's muscle at one point and also of a Ringkampf type stable with him, Axel Dieter, and I forget the third guy.

lol no, it's just becoming too much of an issue to go forward with the show. Never for a second pretend a company is doing something for moral reasons, let alone in the pro wrestling industry.

It falls under the same category as what Stephanie said on twitter a few years ago - "philanthropy is the future of marketing, it's the way brands r going 2 win." Companies pretending like they actually care about anything more then a profit is how they hook people.

Also, tickets are still being sold, just not thru WWE's website. Apparently they weren't sold by WWE for GRR either
