Roberts, Thomas and Alito all opposed Obergefell in the first place, they'd need two of Kavanagh, Gorsuch and Coney Barrett to overturn gay marriage.
I think Gorsuch might be prepared to vote to save it under the same logic as the case where he voted for Title VII. Roberts needs to flip though.

First lawsuit has been filed due to the new Texas abortion law. The plaintiff isn't even from Texas but he's also not strictly pro-life either.
Stilley, the Arkansas man, said he decided to sue after reading a news report about Braid’s declaration. A former lawyer convicted of tax fraud in 2010 and sentenced to 15 years, Stilley said in an interview that he is not personally opposed to abortion but thinks the measure should be subject to judicial review.

New Jersey's Supreme Court ruled that the names and addresses of dog owners can be made public, but dog names must remain private.
The decision out of Jersey City is another win for Ernest Bozzi, a businessman from Burlington County who uses OPRA to obtain dog owner information to solicit them to buy invisible fence products.
Bozzi has filed actions against municipalities across New Jersey, and is often victorious. In this case, the high court used a nearly identical appeals court win he had against Summit and Roselle Park in 2020 to bolster their findings.
“Owning a dog is, inherently, a public endeavor,” the high court wrote in a 5-2 decision, finding owners had no expectation of privacy in OPRA.
The high court found that some information in dog license records would be a concern if disclosed, like the dog’s name or type of dog breed or the animal’s purpose, like if it is a service dog.
But that was moot in Bozzi’s OPRA request and legal arguments. He never sought dog owners’ phone numbers, the pet’s purpose or breed. He only wanted the license holder’s name and address, the court noted.
Brett Kavanaugh has COVID, probably will get away with no ramifications.

I guess there won't be a keg at Barrett's investiture today.
Dude is going to get the best care in the world, he will be fine.
but did he have Covid on his calendar
I think you missed the point, so I'll just lay it down here:
the point isnt that he's going to get priority access to an overburdened ICU (which is another problem but whatever), its that he's going to have access to thousands of dollars of treatment, treatment that the rest of these regular jerkoffs who think covid is a joke wont have access to if they catch it.
Or he's vaccinated (and his family is as well and tested negative) and asymptomatic and likely won't need to be admitted to the hospital.
