Best Buy had a bunch of PS5 drop this morning and the closest one that had them in stock was a 90 mile drive, thought about it for a while but decided not to chance wasting the gas on it being sold out by the time I got there. Dang.

this post-covid thing of selling desirable items in bundles with less desirable ones so they can clear stock and charge more sucks
I mean, I will want another controller, charging station, and Horizon if I can ever get a disc console..
You have to have a Gamestop Pro membership to get these bundles so that's more money. Each store is suppose to have 10 disc versions. 0-2 digital.
lol

Honestly, as far as bundles are concerned, that one with the controller and charging pad isn't bad. Forbidden West is a big must have. Only negative on that is Gran Turismo, but I'm not into racing games, especially ones hindered by micro transactions.
Do we have any idea how this'll work come June if you already have years of PS Plus? Seems like a good deal, but it'd suck if I buy it now and all I get is 10~ months of PS Premium, while time still ticks down on my PS Plus essentials bank.
Likely you get upgraded to the new plan and then when your next billing cycle comes around you're forced to pay their new service fees.
Any of you ever use remote play outside of your home network and find that the thumb sticks sometimes act sticky?
I haven't bothered seriously looking for a ps5 yet; Not enough games for me to bother. Hopefully by the time I REALLY want one they won't be so darned hard to get.
PS5 bundles will be in store tomorrow at GameStop. Must be a Pro Member to buy. Bundles only, no standalone consoles…expect to drop $800+ if you want one
That's how I got mine, a bundle with a second controller and 5 games.
Debating if I wanna wake up early and try to get one in the morning...also, would need to sign up for gamestop+
I guess I'll try and get one tomorrow, they apparently weren't too crowded around here last time they did this.
To add to this, that extra $5 off works on Nintendo/PSN cards, so if you have nothing to use it on every month, you can get half off a $10 card each time. Essentially get a game for 50% or even more if you buy the game on sale. It works online too.
It sometimes works for Steam cards too, but it depends on the employee you get.
late to the party but i struggled getting a ps5, doing the online queue on their site, trying to find relative decent deals on second hand sites etc, and then when i went the gamestop bundle route it was mercifully over (my bundle was digital version, second controller, and two gift cards for 600)
if you really want one and the bundle looks good, pull the trigger
