Late to the party but I am excited about the PS5 lol.

After they delayed the reveal I reminded myself to watch it then COMPLETELY FORGOT! XD Today it just popped into my head, "Oh shit!! What about the PS5 announcement?!"

But anyway.. I just wanted to add my thoughts. I'm not crazy about the design. When I build a PC I go with a minimalist design for the case. I don't want it looking like a spaceship or something. It's not too bad though. It's the white I guess. I don't like white color for my devices. I will get the black version. There is a black version right? There being two different versions is pretty cool. I will be going with the physical disc version though. I am a consumer rights person and like to have a actual copy of the game plus I like collecting stuff that may come with games. Art books, little toys, etc. I will not be getting it day one though despite the awesome lineup of games they will have at release. I never buy a console day one. I always wait a couple months to see if there are any major hardware problems or bugs. I am worried about the heat problems people have been reporting but otherwise things look promising!

Also, more on the pricing. Isn't it supposed to be more simple especially when the base game costs the full retail price? It is not as if they are offering ie single player edition at a discount.

"Mamba forever" edition comes with multi generation compatibility but again, upgrade should be free for people who want to start on the earlier generation. I repeat, they are already paying the full retail price.

That means DLC is going to be stopped, right? RIGHT!? lol. Jim Sterling has a number of videos on why the $59.99 price tag and DLC is a myth and while I can't call it gospel, there are some valid fucking points made to make me a believer. It all comes down to one thing. Milking people for even more money. I'm fortunately in the position to buy both consoles and probably will, but with games going to $70? I will absolutely be getting a disc version, so when price cuts inevitably happen, I will buy them at that point.
