THAT'S MY SAUSAGE
THAT'S MY SAUSAGE
They added the first three John Wick films on January 1st and they will be leaving January 31st.
There is a lot going away at the end of the month;
Spoiler: show

The clone High Pilot and Tiny Toons reboot pilots both got leaked
Tiny Toons reboot

Tiny Toons reboot episode makes me angry(Unfunny and average animation). I pray that Those Tiny toons voices are a placeholder(Bugs, Granny etc are done by current voice actors)
Clone High season 2 pilot was perfect, I can’t wait until the official release.
Yeah, I'd have cancelled HBO Max after last of us completes if I didn't get it for free through AT&T.
I'd cancel it if I didn't mooch off my ex roommate
Don't think this show had a thread so
I've honestly been enjoying Velma and think people are over reacting
I don't think it's as bad as many make it out to be, but the writing isn't very good. Too much of it feels forced. I'm interested in the main story arc, but I can do without the constant "rich white guy bad" type lines. I think it wouldn't be as bad if it was a new IP as opposed to a beloved/nostalgic one since character names seem to be the only thing linking the two.
My two problems with it are 1) there's no reason it had to be Scooby Doo, it's only branded that way for name recognition and buzz, and 2) it's another Mindy Kaling self-insert show.
I haven't watched it and I don't plan to. Because I like Scooby Doo and it sounds like the show has nothing to do with it lol
citation needed but I've read it wasn't intended to be tied to an existing IP which is why it feels like that
So the back half of The Nevers didn't even come out, and the first half got removed from HBO Max, apparently Tubi picked up the rights and has started to air them occasionally. I found this out due to the unaired episodes appearing... elsewhere... and doing some googling.
Yeah, I think a lot of shuffling is going on with some of those pulled shows. Tubi/Roku for now, there's an upcoming free thing from WBD as well which may be the end destination in the spring. No idea when that's supposed to launch other than "spring" and also a few things saying summer, so idk.
I guess it had been rumored and has been the plan, but Succession's 4th season starting in 4 weeks will be the last.
HBO Max's orphaned Batman: Caped Crusader cartoon finds new home at Amazon
a kindly billionaire named Amazon has decided to take the series on as its ward, with THR reporting that the retail giant has scooped up the series for a two-season order. Amazon was one of several streamers who apparently bid on the series, which isn’t surprising, given the pedigree involved: Abrams is Abrams, Reeves is hot off reviving the Batman film franchise, and Timm is working with writers like celebrated comics author Ed Brubaker to bring this latest vision of Gotham City to life. Is it any wonder that Netflix, Apple, Hulu—pretty much everybody except the show’s own animation-hating parents—wanted a bite at this thing?
Deals are still being formalized, so there’s no word yet on when the series will pop up in its new palatial streaming home. No details on the actual content of the series, either, although the few visuals that have been handed out make it clear that Timm and company are interested in re-creating at least some of the look and feel of the beloved Batman: The Animated Series for a new streaming generation.

HBO Max is getting rebranded as "Max."
The new streaming platform will combine scripted dramas like HBO’s “Succession,” “White Lotus” and “House of the Dragon” with Discovery’s unscripted staples like cooking, home improvement and survival shows.
The new service will launch on May 23.
Warner Bros. Discovery executives have been planning to combine HBO Max and Discovery+ for more than a year as part of the rationale for merging Discovery Communications and WarnerMedia, which was divested from AT&T
in April 2022.
Pricing will remain the same as current HBO Max plans: $9.99 per month with commercials and $15.99 per month without ads. A new, $19.99 tier labeled “Max Ultimate Ad Free,” will allow for four concurrent streams, up to 4K resolution and 100 offline downloads.
Max will include new tech features including the launch of a default kids profile that comes with parental controls. The company also announced expanded personalization, a new content navigation menu at the top of the app and prominent promotions of featured brands and genres.
