Pretty sure that was vs Carolina. I remember at least 3 times my butt scrunched because our secondary forgot how to secondary and we left a receiver with like 20 square yards of space, then I remembered we were playing Eli when he chucked it to the flat.

Just to be clear on something too. Fans weren't just upset about the benching of Eli last year. There was a gigantic backlash and McAdoo was fired because he blatantly threw Eli under the bus, and went with Geno fucking Smith under the bullshit guise "to evaluate and see what we got" that absolutely no one believed for a second. Being condescending as shit to fans as if we didn't know or remember Geno already had played in the same damn building for so many years. He was a clown that lost the respect of the locker room and disrespected the face of a franchise for 14 years to try and save his job in a last ditch effort.

No one would be nowhere near as upset if we come to find out Lauletta is named the starter after our bye week. That's of course, if the idiot is out of jail yet. Archie Manning himself came forward this morning I think and said something to the effect of Eli having to come to terms with his legacy after this season.
