That temple with all the white. It looks just like.. wtf was that zone in XI? In between Zitah and the Hall of the Gods
Well, not just like it. But it certainly reminds me of it.
Ro'Maeve
Didn't exactly think of it, but yeah, love the location
Yes! Thank you lol.
It reminds me of Nier Automata's artifical city.
it's honestly wild how far we've come with dungeons in this game. the scale of some of these places is just
Just thinking how Allagan technology was 'omg wtf is this raid holy shit' in 2.0 and now we just got allagan bots in our damn house like its nothing.
2012 "Holy shit they added the crystal tower!? Look! I can see it in Mor Dhona! I can't believe we'll be inside it only 10 months from now!"
2019 "The what? Oh, you mean the ancient power plant that helped imprison a dragon god in the fake moon? Yeah, I use that shit to travel to another dimension when I'm in the mood to save a second world. What about it?"
2020 "You mean you haven't been to the moon?"

I dunno if this was posted or not, but Yoshi-P's reaction to getting asked if they'd ever consider opening some 1.0 servers

Considering how notoriously bad Square is at keeping a history of their own code and how even Blizzard had to do at least 2 years of work to get Classic running.
Nightmare!
Why would you even want to keep 1.0 code? It was awful.
It literally wasn't even the code that was "bad", it's the fact people literally keep forgetting 1.0 was never a finished product. Also you technically want to keep the source code of all of your projects, especially for copyright reasons. Hell even in 5.0 we're still going to be getting concepts, content and early systems from 1.x implemented just like throughout 2.x - 4.x we did so even if 1.0 was a finished game, they've been spreading it out through the relaunch slowly that there's virtually no need for it.
I miss the 1.0 version of Howling Fist. Hitting it with Blindside up was so satisfying.
That's basically the only thing I miss though.
