Hahah I think i quit around 2015 or 2016 as well. I'm really not digging Odin anymore. I have some friends on Valefor but not sure what I'm gonna do. How's the crack been treating you?

It's been good so far. I have so much to do with all the new quests and missions and upgrades to my gear. Sylph has been great and there is becoming a more and more active BG community there. Has a decent economy as well. Right now I am enjoying getting the feel of the game, working on upgrading my Rag a bit with Pluton farming and just straight leveling PLD through the Nostalgia areas.

I remember working retail at 17 around 2004 (or whenever CoP had recently come out) and getting into it cuz of a coworker. I had only ever played ffix before, and playing ffxi and joining BG got me into all sorts of other games. Trying to avoid relapsing right now.

The automatic cutscenes are driving me crazy now that I'm playing on some fresh characters. I think by zoning in somewhere I got RoV, SoA, ACP (and another one of the add-ons) and CoP and maybe more.

Turned 37 a few months ago. I'll go for months or year(s) without even thinking what age I was when starting this game.

Anyways I'm 34. Started playing FFXI when I was 19 in 2004 on PS2 NA launch. I only knew of this BG place in passing for a while. Would sometimes check to see if people I knew from my server ended up in the gimp/confused fail threads. Finally joined in 2010, ironically when I kinda got out of the HNM scene and only played casually.
