I'm a healthy, vaccinated 30 year old that works from home and doesn't go around any older people. I go to the gym 4x a week, go to the movies, my life's pretty much back to normal. I don't live my life in fear of covid. I also got covid last year so I have antibodies.

Genuinely curious what people see the difference of being in a movie theater vs say going into their office with constantly recirculated air. Don't see how that's stupid.

More oblivious than anything, but still stupid. People, like myself, have health problems and live in shitty states like Texas. Any movie isn't worth dealing with that noise. After watching my vaxx'd buddy deal with delta, I'm really not about to fuck around and find out.

It was fucking excellent. This is a proper summer blockbuster, holy shit. and can't wait to see more of this character.

Yes, a really entertaining watch. I went without expecting much, seeing as origin movies are often so so, but this was so fun. Like someone said, a kung fu movie with Marvel touch

The choreography in the fight scenes is so damn good, holy shit. They hired the right people to make Marvel Kung Fu legit. Definitely one of the better origin story movies too and the mid & end credit scenes as usual were a nice touch.

Seems to me that they were hinting at the Eternals, mentioning how the Rings origin is unknown and they're a lot older than 1,000 years. Something the Celestials made, maybe?

Yea, his prior experience as a stuntman definitely worked out for him to make the scenes more immersive.

Up there with Thor Ragnarok for me. No origin story has the right to be this good.

Katie was hilarious, the fights were super tight, OG mandarin is so good. Bahamut vs leviathan didn't disappoint. And Wong is a treasure, fixing fights with abomination? Amazing.

I was going in thinking it was going to bed lower/mid tier Marvel movie like the first Ant-Man. it was so much better than that. As far as Marvel movies that aren't team-up, it's way up there for me.

Man the more I think about the fights in this movie the more amazed I am. Like 1 part Crouching Tiger, 1 part Kung Fu Hustle, 1 part Ip Man.

if sticking with comic origins the ten rings Mandarin had were also ancient alien artifacts so it would make sense for the mcu to have them connected to the celestials.

Was alright, but def not my favorite marvel movie. The comedy was meh, middle was a slog and had me sleeping between the well choreographed fights. I wouldn't spend movie theater money to watch it tbh.
