From personnel to playcalling to coaching staff to time management etc. Tepper wants to modernize the team in every way and Rivera has been pushing back. Even something as simple as iPads on the sidelines, which Rivera somehow thinks would hinder the team. His whole Riverboat Ron persona is so fucking annoying too because he's so cautious 99.9% of the time, but because he went for it on 4th down like twice and went for 2 vs DET people think he's a risk taker. He's been doing shit this year like punting on 4th and 1 down 2 scores in the 4th at midfield. With CMC and Cam. Like seriously wtf.
As solid as he's been, it still feels like he's squandered the talent on this team. He plateaued in 2015 and it's been a steady slide since then despite having better talent.
