Oh man just found my current fav build I've run into.

Spear. Chain lightning from my attacks and cast. Ramp up how many times chain lightning bounces. Add on jolt effect from lightning. And also support fire from Artemis who shoots out a homing arrow any time I attack, cast or special. Shit just dies all around me.

Edit: Just added Flurry Cast to this. And then my first two Legendary ones. Fire electric bolt anytime I use an electric boon lol. And +2 to cast.

Lightning is pretty good on anything. Might even be overpowered but whatever, super fun game.

Support arrow on rapid fire gun is nuts, I think that was my first clear.

I've cleared with most of the weapons now, I think I have to say shield is the best. Being able to block is so fucking OP for some encounters, especially the last two boss fights.

I honestly think spear is the worst. Maybe with the final aspect (which I haven't gotten yet), but the spear is so much more dependent on whatever boons you get to make the run viable, whereas stuff like the Shield with Aspect of Chaos or Bow with Aspect of Chiron can work with basically anything. Also shout out to the sword with the default aspect + the Lambent Plume keepsake

I guess i'm always trying for certain builds, and if you don't get a few of them early on, it is next to impossible to get the correct duo's/etcs later.

15 hours in the past 2 days, loving this game and how each run plays completely different depending on weapon and boons. Last clear was with sword, got the weapon buff that lets you hold down attack, plus increased weapon speed, Artemis arrow after each hit, and the boon that reduces your health but each hit adds 2 hp. Other notable wins, shotgunning arrows with the bow special and turning the gun's special into a giant crit bomb that one shots everything, including yourself lol

If I've gotten a bad arrangement of boons by the time I reach Elysium I usually just kill myself and start over, even if you can get past the boss there you're not gonna make it to the end

Also, finally beat it for the first time. Used a spear special build with high intensity doom. Got the daedulus upgrade so it did 50% more damage and critted on return and then for it to hit up to 7 mobs. Shit would fly all over the place and everything would die from doom

FFFFF almost had 2nd form of final boss (I think) but my HP dropped so fast outta nowhere

Had push back from poseidon on my dash + cast. Had bonus damage if enemies pushed into walls. Second wave anytime anyone pushed back. And Zeus' lightning anytime anyone got hit with a wave. +1 extra dash. Just dashed all over wrecking thing.
