Gotta work on those clutch dash strike counters. And don't sleep on Artemis boons, crits in this game are OP as fuck even without using Artemis attack/specials.

Of my 4 clears thus far, 3 are with the Spear. One is with the sword. So as much as people are saying it's not good, I'm loving spear. It's not even a contest on how much I mop the floor with mobs. But if you get the right combo of just about anything, you're set. I need to work on my bow/gun game cause those are the 2 I have played least with. Personal preference I guess!

I did bow for first clear. Used special with the +4 shots as a shotgun with Demeter skill on it, full chill in 1-2 shots and then big hit from the skill that goes boom when you reach max chill. Definitely some Artemis and Hermes in there as well, all of my clears had a few skills from each of them.

Just finished shield a few minutes ago, I'm on a 3 streak with 5 clears total lol.

Edit: Game is SO much easier once you get the minor prophecies mostly taken care of and can just take what you want.

People who think spear is weak haven't used Serrated Edge with a heroic Hunter Dash and crit skills.

I don't think I've ever been addicted this much to a rogue like before. Was always a genre I kind of just dabbled in, but this game just has so much to unlock and stuff that I just want to keep playing. Really like getting stronger from all the upgrades too.

Up to 3 clears so far: gun, spear, and fists.

Its a really, REALLY good game. I remember watching a friend play it a few months back and it just looked very clean and polished. The production values show. I'm glad its getting its due.

This is sorta the thing though, spear isn't good in and of itself, it requires some pretty specific skills to succeed.

It's not gonna win runs by itself with a random assortment of skills like the Shield or Chiron Bow.

I'm doing a run right now with the Lucifer aspect for the rail and it definitely requires some specific hammer boons to really get going.

the mass AoE grenade with +1 million damage but it friendly fires spec for the rail makes the game p easy mode, specced up ranged weapons in general seem quite a bit easier than any melee business

I mean it mostly comes down to a rarity thing.

You'll have plenty of chances over a run to pick up your Olympian Boons, but most runs you're probably only getting 2 hammers.

The starting boon on your attack/special/cast can be the defining factor of your run, but after that the hammers are the best way to further refine what you're going for and get the W
