Man I just made it to the final boss with a maxed out 430 HP and 4 death defiance left.

Kind of impossible to lose at that point lol

Not sure I agree. There's almost never a darkness room in the Temple of Styx and thats usually where I am hurting the most for HP. And the amount of tiny rooms you go through, the 3 tick heals add up a bit.

Yeah, this is what I'm using as well for that reason.

There is a talent late in the mirror that makes it less likely you get darkness rooms (as well as other currency that carries over between runs) for more rooms that actually give boons, money, buffs, etc. for that run, which is what I'm using now. Getting stronger for each run just seems like it helps much more with success rate.

Just had a build with the fist that let me AoE freeze with my special and had like 1000% damage vs. armor, absolutely destroyed the first 3 levels but then couldn't get past the arena. I made it to the boss with a bow build that gave me rapid fire in exchange for losing the power shot.

Had the same thought and looked it up. Yup. OST is by the same guy Darren Korb and the singer is Ashley Barrett

Also man Excalibur is OP as hell, especially if you boost the range/effect of its Aura.

Ending theme is real good as well. Music definitely does good things in this game.

Knowing its 10 escapes to beat the game only makes me want to somehow binge this harder and the planet spins too fast for me to squeeze in more of this game lol

Clears for me got way easier after the first, probably just due to buffs from the mirror lol.

Even after getting 10 clears though, there are just so many quests and dialog things to still work on. I love it.

Not needing to take bullshit skills to finish prophecies helps a ton too. I think my first clear was p much the first run I didn't take any skills just for prophecies.

yeah second one came quite fast after the first. and that was with grabbing a few junk boons for missing prophecies! absolutely trashed everything up thru styx with aspect of demeter + ice/lightning boons, athena's aid lets you ignore most of the last fight lol.

Man I have a new fav absurd build.

Gun + Attack speed up + 6 more ammo from daedalus. Push back on attck + Rupture to pushed enemies from Poseidon. Lightning strikes to pushed enemies + jolt effect to lightning strike from Zeus. Seeker arrows on any attack/special/cast from Artemis.

I just fire a bunch of shots and everything dies.


Best part is I'm just doing heroes now so probably a few more boons that will synergize will coming soon

Bow special is so OP. Probably the best boon setup I've had. The 5 extra lives were kinda overkill.
