Wireless Keyboard and Mouse that works with a KVM?

Anyone know of a wireless mouse and keyboard that will work via KVM? My sup has 3 computers he toggles between depending on the task at hand, and even after installing the keyboard/mouse individually on each computer, as soon as he plugs the receiver into the KVM, it won't work.

Maybe put a powered usb hub onto the kvm and then plug the dongle into that? iogear and aten kvms seem to have the best luck with logitech dongles at least (bro has a cheap iogear kvm for his gaming and work machines, takes a couple seconds for his kb/m to switch over though). Could also try a software route with something from here if one machine is used a lot more often: https://listoffreeware.com/best-free...ple-computers/

Ok, I'll see if he's got a powered USB hub laying around his house. If not I'll have to order one and give that a try.

When looking it up a little more, this popped up: https://community.logitech.com/s/que...o-a-kvm-switch It looks like there's problems with how a kvm might interpret and pass a usb device signal forward. If possible, maybe try putting keyboard on one dongle and mouse on another, or see if the kvm or a hub can be placed in a way that wired kb/m is feasible (the crappy option). Powered hub won't matter, that was just a shot in the dark.

try synergy, software that basically turns multiple computers into one, drag and drop, copy and paste, and keyboard mouse work across multiple computers as though it were one, pretty slick
