Didn’t give much this year due to Astylla’s new job uniform requirements eating into a large chunk of savings. Gave my dad a scotch variety pack and a copy of blade runner 2049, and astylla got him and his wife a bottle of wine and a bottle of port. Got my brother a copy of Baby driver on Blu Ray.

Got three t shorts, a new work polo, a pair of Clark’s dress shoes that I’m not sure if they will work since my feet hate me, a bottle of wine, a usb charger that can also jump a car, and breath of the wild for switch.

Astylla got a patron tequila tasting set, a giant history of Disney book, a choker and I think a couple of other items that I’m suddenly drawing a blank on.

Even without the gifts this was probably the best Christmas I ever had, spending it with family and having a general good ol time.

My wife was taking a nap around 4 pm because she had to be to work at 6 pm yesterday. I decided to do the dishes and while doing said dishes I thought to myself this was the first year in our eight years as a couple where we didn't go anywhere or spend time with anyone on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We did do things with friends on other days and today she's going out with the girls out of town to have a "Christmas lunch" and shop. I thought to myself, this has been one of the best years because I got to just relax and do exactly what I wanted for a change. Now don't think I'm a grinch and hate everyone. I do enjoy going to her family's house and hanging out there. But they live close to 100 miles away and it's usually a two to three day event of staying there. I'm extremely glad that we did not have to attend anything from my side because my entire family here in MI is my bat shit crazy sister and every gathering is that forced feeling and you just can't wait to leave.

So cheers this year to getting a kick ass monitor, having great food and time with my wife, and relaxing playing XI and hanging out with my four supercats.

I surprised my girlfriend with a Nintendo Switch and Let's Go Eevee. Got Pikachu for myself and we played all morning. Felt like we were kids again. Also got her several books and some smaller stuff like plushes etc.

She got me master grade level Sinanju and Sandrock Ver Ka Gundam models! I can't wait to get back into that. Snorlax mug, sanic socks and t shirt, an amber bracelet so I can remain calm while driving in Michigan. It was a good haul. Oh and the blue ray 0083 whole series almost forgot!

We're going back to my parents' in NJ sometime January so I haven't bought for them yet.
