Too many new shows AND movies... making me want to go out to the theatre ;/
Randomly, no ones made a spring anime thread, much less a summer one (which is what was mostly shown at Anime Japan last weekend).
I really should checkout the anime Japan thing next time...
I think Fruits Basket is the only thing I care about for spring.
Next season I'm looking forward to (on top of the usuals):
Nice chilling slice of life manga, animated! I can't wait to see that tail/ear more lol
Does that make me a furry?
If being attracted to girls who have animal ears/tail makes you a furry, then we have an epidemic on our hands.
There was a picture for this, iirc you're like 10% furry.
I think anything past that is the danger zone (or Gulk)
Ova announcement after final episode. I hope season 3 is still in the works.
Ahem, April 1st so take with a grain of salt.
Madoka on Netflix. Been waiting for this for eight years. It is over, at long last.
Movies as well? Definitely should give that a rewatch lol
Doesn't look like it, not on German Netflix at least.
Madoka has been on PL Netflix for quite a while now, but yeah, series only. I worry it will be the same with NGE...
I've fallen in love with a lot of manga because I watch the anime, but one jump I've never done before is Anime -> Light Novel. It seems to me a lot of light novels are written like....fanfiction... I have a tough time getting into them. Does anyone feel this way? Has anyone here made the anime-> LN jump?
I've really wanted to get into the LNs of stuff like Konosuba, Oregairu, NGNL, Violet Evergarden, especially in between long hiatuses of their respective anime seasons, but they never click with me.
I haven't been able to make the conversion, either, but I attribute a lot of it to people formatting the text like ass. Of the few I've looked into, stuff is literally like "One sentence > two line breaks > one sentence > two line breaks > repeat" and what would otherwise be a normal paragraph turns into two pages of scrolling. Alternatively, you get those that don't know what line breaks and word wrap are, creating giant walls of text. How much of this is to blame on the source or people playing the translation integrity card, I dunno. What constitutes a chapter being less than the length of this post also gets me to WTF at times.
