Saw the event posted here but the best I can gather is that it's some combination of a drop-event/ticket event with the prizes being bought by greens.

Yes, same element magicite give a bonus to inheritance stats.

However, with the change that you get 3 magicite now for clearing a 3 or 4* fight, it is more efficient to dump the magicite raw into inheritance than to level it up.

Okay, I hadn't realized there was a change. I was never leveling up the magicite I dumped in, I was just clearing out anything I got i didn't need into the inheritance.

The D300 still hurts like hell though. It's a bit better to go slow if you don't have Awakenings.

Yeah I learned that after trying a few times. I have to hold off on popping Kain and Sora’s AOSBs until the first Ripple goes off. Even then I have to be careful as that may still leave a sliver of health that I have to deal with before Arc can’t keep everyone alive.
