Right, but I mean he's worthless as a Dem if he can't even articulate what he would do and what his reasoning is.

Jeff Sessions Will Run to Reclaim Alabama Senate Seat

Welp, it was a good 2 year run Doug.
Doesnt he still have to primary? I'm not as pessimistic about this as everyone else I guess

He does. But he’s insanely popular. And it’s an open primary. So Session will pick up a huge swath of republican voters and democrats will vote for him over whatever stooge trump supports. And moderate republicans will vote for sessions. Sessions will win a primary easily.
Supposedly Trump is going to campaign against him though.

I dont see Trump endorsing him, but depending on how impeachment goes trump might not even involve himself in that race.

I look forward to the fawning liberal coverage of Jeff Sessions as a principled republican after Trump back Roy Moore once again eats shit.

This is a more comprehensive source for the same stay.
There have been about a dozen other articles written about the Republican retirement epidemic as well.
Aka why does a rat desert a ship
Because of sand, which is rough, coarse, and gets everywhere?
The special election to complete Katie Hill's term will coincide with the California Presidential Primary in March. If no candidate gets 50% of the vote, top 2 vote-getters will face each other in a runoff in May. Voters will have to vote twice in March ballot: once to complete the term and another as a primary for the November general election.
Cenk Uygur of "The Young Turks" is running for the seat, a crowded field that already includes former Rep. Steve Knight and George Papadopoulos.

He has plead guilty and faces up to 10 years in prison. He has also admitted to illegally owning guns as he is already a convicted felon.
Ilhan requests a compassionate and light sentence for him in a letter to the judge.

California Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Alpine) to plead guilty for misusing campaign funds that funded personal vacations and expenses such as " tequila shots, golf outings, resort stays, fine dining and private-school tuition for their children."
Edit: Hunter plans on resigning.
Him pleading guilty sounds like a liberal conspiracy to me
