The Cards FO strongly denied it and called it "ludicrous", but I guess that is what they would say either way. I think this originated from a TV personality just giving "what ifs" because they have the top pick. Probably nonsense. There is no way you ditch a guy with Rosen's ceiling for someone that is 5'9" and may decide to play baseball, if things don't go his way after 2 seasons.

This would be significantly worse than drafting Lamar Jackson, which is really bad.
