Farewell to Burbank for Season 3. OWL going on the road - https://overwatchleague.com/en-us/ne...-s-new-in-2020
No more Stages.
So Stage 4 starts tonight and will include the 2/2/2 change. Yes, the GOATS meta isn't as dominating as it was at the start of the season, but this is such a drastic change to the game that I don't think I like it being included so late in the season. I feel they're setting up for a repeat of the end of last season where NYXL dominated all year, but then the meta shifted because of patches before the end of the season and they didn't perform as well in the last stage/playoffs.
I don't OWL personally, but seems like if they want it to be a sport, changing the rules mid-season is kind of unethical whether it be balance changes or role lock. Forcing a team to relearn the game or make adjustments in the middle of a season just seems unfair and bad design.
True but to be fair they should have done it at the conclusion of the last season.

London is still in it! Crazy series against Shanghai -- who saw that at the start of the season.
Geeze, congrats to San Francisco for sweeping Vancouver in the finals. Series wasn't close at all.
Vancouver just couldn't deal with Bastion.
Champion skin should be based on the MVP.
