And that is just because he basically retired from acting in the 90s to raise his kids after his wife died. And since then, is incredibly selective about roles he takes, only doing a small handful of appearances since.

He has basically said in one interview 'After being away for acting for awhile...I find I don't miss it really.'

Yeah, when the Alien 30th Anniversary happened they did a big promo for it and was able to go. Got a Alien 30th Anniversary shirt as well as glass while being able to watch the unedited edition of Alien.

I honestly cannot go to any other movie theater now after being at Drafthouse for releases.
