And even that isn't a sure thing. For all we know he could have shanked it, been blocked, fumbled the snap, etc.

IMO, the best overall 3 franchises in the last 20 years are all AFC teams. Patriots, Steelers, and wherever Peyton Manning was located at the time.

The no call was easily the greatest tragedy in NO history.

the browns and jets have a combined 24 seasons of not making the playoffs. that kinda helps

nfc only has 1 team like that, tampa. otherwise the division is much more competitive

2018/19 NFL Conference Championships: Never Count Out Touchdown Tom

On a serious note, I’d love to see some kind of statistic on games decided by the refs within the last few minutes this year. They have way too much power. Felt like every week there was one or two games decided by a bullshit call/no-call. I know of at least one off the top of my head against the Giants with the Panthers getting a 5th down.

cowboys/skins 1. last 2 seconds of the game, cowboys going for a fg at the 50 or something

long snapper was called for an illegal snap infraction, which apparently has never been called in the history of ever lol.
i don't even know what an illegal snap is. you either snap the ball or dont lol

They are certainly much more competitive, but that is because the 3 I named are the only elite ones we have seen over the last 20 years. It’s quality over quantity. Peyton, Brady, or BigBen would all have more SuperBowl appearances if they got to wreak havoc on the NFC, instead of always running into each other in the AFC.

Brady has a better record vs AFC teams.

Also, a certain QB in the NFC South has never lost to him.

i mean, just logically, if there's more competition in your division that means there's more teams that have a chance at giving you a loss. which gives you less of a chance at getting into the playoffs. or at bare minimum less of a chance becoming the 1 seed. that's just math

No shit, 3 of the worst bottom-feeder franchises have been in his division since he took his first snap. Outstanding analytics.

If anyone thinks there is a better franchise, over the last 20 years, then those 3, then I’d love to hear who and why. It’s not like I’m even a fan of any of them. They are just simply the best.

This could just be 4 average teams being competitive because they are all average. Or 4 terrible teams being competitive because they all suck. This doesn’t mean they are all strong teams and keep each other down, though that’s a valid option.
