Sounds like studio meddling to appeal to the bigger scope of the MCU. Hopefully they're not pulling an Age of Ultron again and messing with the director's vision.

It’s actually a really fun watch. Some of the most intriguing stuff the MCU has put out. Only real complaint I had with WV was the incredibly safe finale episode that went by the books marvel.
