Amanda did indeed (my spreadsheet notes actually discuss that) - she was the early leader, but Morgan beat her out. Zahida and Morgan were kind of on par, but since Zahida won it the first week, I went with Morgan.

Some of the recent seasons were really good for parts of it, but that kind of got dragged down by the seasons ending up taking 5 months. It's only 3 episodes, but this is an amazing start.

Relic being just safety for the next round is good and reasonable. What a shocker.

The challenge setup was great. The way things went down was even greater. Wes probably didn't even break a sweat during that, lmao. I know they listed the eliminated teams, but I forgot who remained in each heat, probably because they were alternating guys/girls. I think I saw JP at some point during that.

Bananas is such a crybaby when someone has the audacity to even consider coming after him. Probably because they'd lose against any team there that he'd actually consider, so picking Zach would make it "not as embarrassing" when they lost, since his confessional was all about his legacy. In the time between Ashley changing his vote and them picking, the only teams I thought of were Amanda/Josh and maybe Jenna/Gus.

"Zahida was actually born in Bangladesh." Bananas, the challenge gods are against you, I guess!

During that tribunal thing, it's as if Kyle realized how stupid this Kyle-Cara-Paulie triangle is/how obnoxious it probably looks on tv.

All in all, great first two episodes. This weeks challenge and elimination were fun to watch. Between Zahida being born in Bangladesh and then calling on Turbo for Turkey, Bananas was destined to lose lol. Also, my players all fucking slayed this week. Ninja Nat with Paulie and Ash/Killah Kam are living up to their potential as the top two teams.

Without Cara telling her, how would Mattie know that everybody in the house dislikes Kyle?

I guess "everyone" is what happens when Cara takes a poll consisting of herself and the 1 person she interacts with. I imagine that 90% of the time when they're at the house, it's Cara/Paulie off by themselves and/or talking about Kyle.

The final heat of the challenge, Theo and Paulie were fighting over the first ball. I was shocked that Cara didn't get a confessional then insisting that they were figuratively fighting over her.

Another good episode with a challenge and an elimination all in one episode. It's almost like they started listening to us. I was really expecting there to be a cliffhanger when TJ revealed how many countries Bananas and Morgan got, and then there was a verrrrrrrrrry long pause while he waited to tell Zach and Zahida.

You guy already covered most of it but yeah, excellent season so far. I dare say they are starting to embrace the "simpler is better" logic I've always preferred. Geography and climbing elimination? Awesome. If you win an elimination you're safe the next week? Genius!

And my god how is every single Brit likable??? Ashley C is the fucking man, Bear is the man, Zahida is hilarious. I need to move to the UK.

What is this season? CT going isn't even a loss. He's been sleepwalking for several seasons. Even though they said double elimination in the preview from last week and it was announced just before, it didn't really dawn on me til TJ said that there could be a new team (good concept) that I had two people in the elimination and they were both going against freaking CT in a pure physical challenge.

What a season this would be if it didn't look like it is going to be dominated by this Kyle-Cara-Paulie nonsense. Shout out to Leroy being more worried about seeing Kyle's junk than people actually brawling in the house.

As I expected, Zach didn't really give a shit about how Kyle may have been rooting for Bananas over him. Cara didn't even tell Zach, but told Jenna to tell him that? Pathetic. Between that and Zach doing the jumping in the challenge, one might forget for an hour that he's not a shithead.

The interrogation/inquisition things remain stupid as hell, but I kind of love them for just how stupid they are. My favorite part was actually how Josh was like "you're so fake, man" or whatever. I'm kind of surprised he didn't cry during that.

I hope the Kyle-Cara-Paulie nonsense fades in the next episode or two. Shit is tiresome. They're all terrible people and only Kyle comes out looking somewhat likable. Thankfully looks like we're getting more air time from the other casts members going forward. I hope CT going home really did light a fire under him. Just like Vil said, dudes been a zombie the last few seasons.

Only real memorable moment I can recall recently was him and Tony with their dadbods destroying the final eating challenge in the celebrity offshoot challenge. Shit was hilarious.

In the first three weeks, we've lost last season's winner - the #1 all time money winner on the show, Johnny Bananas, and CT. About the only legend left is Wes, and he's managed to skate by with nobody really targeting him. He seems like a definite favorite to get to the final, at least. I really hope CT does come back with an improved Dad bod instead of just a general Dad bod. But the dude is 38, it's not like he's getting any younger.

Big scoring week this week. Lots of fights, arguments, and several challenge winners. I've managed to not lose anyone, use my first two picks wisely, and picked up a couple of great rookies in Georgia and Turbo, so I'm in the lead to date. And we haven't even seen Cara and Paulie screw on camera yet. I predict we never see JP, Julia or Natalie Negrotti again. I hope I'm wrong, at least with Natalie, I like her.

This season continues to be awesome. Challenge + some drama + Elimination in each episode = win. Eliminations don't need to be spread out over 20 minutes, which gives a lot of time for the stuff in the house.

My team continues to be on a tear. Cara & Paulie is a heck of a combination, and Turbo keeps picking up some nice wins. Not having anyone eliminated yet is a nice bonus, too.

I now see why Bear was a big deal in casting. He's quite the character. Not in a good way as a human, but good in a reality TV type of way.

If you had told me week one that Ashley M, Bananas, CT, and Zach were going to go home in consecutive weeks to start the season, I would not have believed you.

Cara Maria droning on about how she's in the healthiest relationship she's ever been in is either really sad and/or flat out laughable. Remember people, this is a relationship that began with her trying to get him to cheat on his girlfriend. This season has done a good job showing Paulie's true colors. I swear this guy is the kind of guy that probably has extended talks with production about what line he can go up to with Kyle. He's having a great season, fantasy wise, no doubt. He's just trying too hard to be the new Bananas, and I can see production going for it since Bananas is far from a sure thing the past few years.

This was another episode that hammered home the fact that there's not really right and wrong. There's just wrong and more wrong in terms of these people. Amanda had a good point about Zach just saying what everyone else was thinking, but that doesn't make him look good. As horrible a person as Amanda seems to be, she actually does primarily go after shitty people.

No idea what Wes has in store next week, but I don't think they would have ended it with his confessional, and then one from Ashley about it. Hopefully if Wes tries something, it's more substance than flash/hype like Kam's master plan to eventually get a scapegoat weak rookie team out.

Shout out to wholesome Turbo.

He is so out of place socially that it's hilarious. But he doesn't seem to have any enemies, and he and Nany are a great team. I think there's a very real chance he could win the season.

Great season so far, but man, I am really getting sick of the Cara-Paulie-Kyle dynamic. They’re all terrible people. It’s fucking disgusting seeing Cara floss around like a peacock as if her shit don’t stink.

One thing I’m really loving though is the veteran with rookie relationships. They picked a great cast of people and they all bring something fresh and new to the table. We needed more screen time of Zahida in a bikini before she left.

Fixed that for you. She's had one confessional so far, which is less than every other contestant in the game, including Alan and Liz, who left the first day. I'm really not sure why nobody has called them out yet, they seem like a relative layup. They haven't even come close to the Tribunal, I don't think.

While it's a nice change seeing almost all the teams get at least a decent amount of attention so far, it's kind of annoying how much of the game decisions seems dominated by old issues. If this were a Fresh Meat season like the ones in the past, I'd totally understand that, but these people have their own relationships. This was really the first episode where that seemed to matter, with Theo not wanting all 3 options having friends of his plus Zahida not wanting to go against them either.

Bear is definitely a misogynist but I love him. He technically quit the challenge but it was because Davonne sucks and was costing them any chance at the tribunal. I get the frustration. I also loved how he refused to let Cara and Natalie berate him in the tribunal meeting. What a hero.

Cara and Paulie are two of the cheesiest people on Earth. "It's our first tribunal together as a couple, so that's a really big deal." Hoooooly shit how old are these people? 16? Cara loooooves to play the victim and loves the self esteem boost she gets from thinking the guys are fighting over her. Meanwhile she's looking like Jigsaw with that terrible makeup.

And yeah, Zahida's built like a damn pornstar and she's really likable. More of her.

Man, seeing that wall having so many empty pegs that have the team things seems shocking. Are they really that far along in this season? There's still a good amount of teams, but they started out with like 30 people, so they're fucking cruising.

Considering they only really first brought up the Leroy-Kam stuff in the previews from last week, Leroy getting 2 confessionals off the bat, finishing with "I'm thinking to myself who's next?" reminded me of this:

Funniest moment of the episode for me had to be right after Leroy/Kam in the kitchen. He's in the bedroom venting about that and they show Shaleen in there and actually put a chiron with her name on it. You know, in case you wonder if they accidentally got a crew member in the shot.

Wouldn't surprise me if this is Leroy's last season, unless they let Bananas literally pick the cast. He's the mostly inoffensive above average competitor type, but doesn't really check a bunch of extra boxes.

Kind of surprised they had the girls doing the same amount in the elimination. That looked like it was no joke, and that main challenge wasn't either. Kyle wouldn't have been in the top half of guys that I'd expect to be able to do that. I think he was against Turbo or something and I was expecting him to be at the end when Kyle was still on the 2nd tire.
