Batman is the only smart non-powered superhero it seems in all these variations with a Superman derivative. Same thing with The Boys, no one ever thinks to have some kind of countermeasure for the near Godlike member on the team.

Was the godlike member at fault, though?

Having read the comics some of the voices feel kind of jarring.

I definitely did not picture Britta Perry as the voice of Eve or a man who has sex with his pillow as Rex.

Lol yeah, the one from Big Mouth is the most jarring one to me, the others don't really bother me though.

I didn't expect to have more heroes die off so soon, but with everything else that has happened, I guess I should have. Also I swear that beast-man sounded just like Kelsey Grammer, but he wasn't in the credits, I don't know who did that voice..

Was definitely Michael Dorn doing Battle Beast, I know that voice anywhere.

He's a pretty recurring character so glad they got such a good actor to voice him.

I was so meh about the first half of the episode, the animation here and there was crap but then damn. That last half had me like damn.

Yeah I do kinda wish a bit more of the casting budget had gone to the animation budget tbh.

The animation budget of each episode is entirely spent on the gore

The animation is definitely jarring at times. It'll go from looking solid to looking like flat characters pasted over a blurry background. Reminds me of some shoddy Flash videos/games you'd catch on Newgrounds a couple decades ago.

I do like the playing with the title card though, like they clearly played into it last ep when he's talking to his gf and goes "I'm..." and I was just waiting for the title card to pop up (and get bloodier)

Honestly a lot of the animation reminds me of the early years of Venture Bros. Has some lows but also many highs as well. Considering the action in the latter half of the episode, I'm not surprised the beginning half had corners cut.

Basically how Cecil knew Omniman was lying. Omniman said someone jumped him in the dark and he couldn't fight back. Cecil teleported into the dark room with omniman and omniman was on him in a second.
