The problem for me will be the year'ish wait for a season 2 with how long animation takes to do in general. Might end up just reading them myself in the wait.

My guesses for next week, knowing nothing from the comics...

I'm expecting a table flip moment and Omni-Man being in the right (bigger picture shit mere mortals cannot comprehend), because son vs. father would be a lame actual resolution, and there being some multiverse crap, because every hero thing these days has a multiverse and that Hell seems to actually exist in this universe, so anything goes.

Invincible getting his powers likely the reason Omni killed the protectors in the first place, so there may be a power-balance shit going on as well to prevent things imploding, be it naturally or some overseeing force.

Whelp, I was way off base with my predictions.

That train scene though. Wtf is the power level of that feline guy anyhow? He had less trouble breaking Invincible than Omni man, unless Omni was just holding back for whatever reason when he looked committed to killing Invinc on the mountain.

Hopefully the next two seasons being confirmed means there'll be less of a wait between 2&3 than the wait I'm assuming we'll have waiting for #2.

Just started. Its fucking excellent, but I think I like the show a little bit more. No way I was just gonna wait for the next season though. On issue 30 now lol

The comic does drag on quite a bit later on, which is a pretty standard Kirkman thing where he seems to lose the plot for a couple years and then just ends a series with basically no warning.

There's some dinosauras shenanigans that I am soooo glad I was able to binge through and I didn't have to wait month after month for the conclusion lol

The Dinosaurus part went on for way way too long, and they can probably remove the entire time travel-ish storyline later on as well. It didn't really add anything of value to the long term story.

Ehhhh, I think it adds a lot of character development and the possibilities for where the arc can go are interesting. Everything wolf corp., Dinosauras, and Not-Iron Man can be cut out imo, or heavily edited.
