I do think Mirage's passive and ult need a buff though.

His ult should not stow weapons for as long as it does, and should make you totally invisible. People know just to shoot the white silhouette.

I think his passive should also send out a dupe whenever he takes 50 hp of damage quickly.

Right now he's only good for his ability and everything else is meh.

Yeah a lot of the abilities are meh at best. Bloodhound is broken in comparison. Lifeline is just your all around great character. The rest have something to complain about lol.

His loadout feels so damned broken to me...

That kind of movement boost is pretty OP in this game, and if that launch pad is comparable to the balloons on the map then ohhh boyyyy he is a must have top tier along with lifeline. Makes me sad that caustic will probably never get that kind of love.

It's basically a better version of Bangalores passive, which makes me question exactly who is doing the balancing in this game lol. We gotta see the specific stats, but a passive heal and speed boost on demand for less damage than getting hit in the body would do? God dayum son.

Octane/lifeline/bloodhound is the new meta if true. Constant care packages, quick revives, building scans, and 2/3 of your team have abilities to make them fast as fuck. Caustic and Gibraltar dont stand a chance =(

They need to fix Gibralter and Caustic in the sense that they can’t be a liability for teammates, same with Bangalore with her smoke bombs. Caustic not slowing down allies and giving allies visibility, and distinguish enemy caustic and ally caustic gas traps. And Gibralter barrier allowing allies to shoot through it like Winston’s bubble in OW.

Currently like i stated before, they’re just big hitboxes.

Yup. They dont even need to give teammates vision thru smoke/gas, just dont make its effects harm allies. Also yeah, Gibraltar shield is fucking useless aside from a last ditch effort to protect yourself from artillery from Bangalore or another Gibraltar. Not that it matters cause you televise your position for anyone to see from half the map away and are sitting ducks inside of it.

I still like caustic, but in very niche situations that my squad never wants to exploit cause people are always too twitchy to hide in a building longer than 30seconds. Then they run outside and get blasted and complain about caustic when bitch the circle is tiny as fuck and you ran out in the open, what did you think was gonna happen 15min into the game?

WEAPON ADJUSTMENTS LIVE ON ALL PLATFORMS

Wingman

Rate of fire reduced from 3.1 -> 2.6
Skullpiercer Headshot damage multiplier reduced from 2.5 -> 2.25
Increased base hip fire spread and decreased the rate at which hip fire spread decays (shrinks back down).
Peacekeeper

Shotgun Bolt rechamber rate has been reduced for the Peacekeeper only.

Level 1 mitigation 10% -> 7.5%
Level 2 mitigation 20% -> 13%
Level 3 mitigation 25% -> 16%
Wingman and Peacekeeper availability has been reduced in all zone tiers.
Increased availability of energy weapons & ammo in all zone tiers.

ADDITIONAL PATCH NOTES

Fixed some script errors that we identified were occasionally causing disconnects during matches.

Caustic occasionally causing disconnects while throwing is Ultimate.
Pathfinder occasionally causing disconnects when activating a Survey Beacon.
Players occasionally causing disconnects when removing an attachment.
Gibraltar occasionally causing disconnects when pulling up his Gun Shield.
Players occasionally causing disconnects when entering Spectate Mode.

Major balance changes:

Hit box size reductions and optimizations for Caustic, Pathfinder and Gibraltar

We’re better sizing hitboxes to character gear & model
Since these adjustments have a MAJOR impact on the game, we want to make sure there aren't any major bugs, so we didn’t want to rush them out
If these adjustments prove to be insufficient, we’ll consider additional adjustments during Season 1

Minor balance changes:

Caustic

Traps - Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds from 30 seconds
Traps - Increased radius and proximity radius by about 10%
Traps - Removed a 1 second delay on the smoke dealing damage to players
Pathfinder

Insider Knowledge - Increased the number of beacons in the world to 12 from 10
Lifeline

Care Package - Removed slight chance that level 4 armor and helmets will drop
Wraith

Into The Void - Cooldown increased from 20 -> 25 seconds
Bangalore

Double Time - Reduced move speed bonus to 30% from 40%

Wingkeeper took a pretty small hit in comparison to what people were expecting I think. Best of all is the rarity changes to the two.

I feel bad that i get invites to play on xbox, and i really want to, but i couldn’t the last time because the framerate was completely atrocious. I went to reddit to realize that if you’re playing on an X, and you have a 4K tv, the game seriously penalizes you because there’s no performance mode. I realized this because i was playing on my friend’s X and he played flawlessly on a 1080p tv. Did they finally patch in a performance mode on xbox one x?
