It's great background noise and the commentary is absolute gold.

wonder if something like this hurts kaeps collusion case. aren't games shown on the nfl network?
Kinda all over the place. NFL network, TNT, CBS sports/CBS All Access

Fuck yeah Apollos 2-0!
If this league is gonna succeed they desperately need a better television deal. I’ve heard nothing but positives from people who actually watched the games, but finding them is an issue. NFL Network, CBS Sports Network, and streaming only is not the way to grow an audience.
I drank this while watching the game

I would think all 3 of those things are great to actually having an audience.
Building 5 years from now, maybe not. But for making sure you have a reliable X million viewers each week absolutely.

Regular CBS, TNT, & CBS:AA appear to have been dropped from the rest of the season. Bleach Report Live has been added. I don't have cable so I've only been able to watch week 1. If I can't watch the rest of the season, I give no fucks.
A report from the Atlantic states that the league is already broke, and was not going to be able to meet payroll in Week 2 were it not for an 11th hour investment of $250 million from NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon.
Yikes.

That investment has now made him the league's chairman.
I think the investment was expected but delayed.
Darren Rovell now reporting that the AAF actually missed payroll in Week 1, told players it was a “glitch”. Assumption is they were broke already at that point. God damn.
i feel like having money for payroll should've been known about
Kind of weird to start a league without knowing whether or not you’ll be able to pay the players on time.
Memphis is terrible.
Fuck yeah 3-0 Apollos
Are there games today?
I think it’s Saturday and Sunday nights so there should be?
