Yeah, it's weird how human they went with the starters.
My guess is Water/Dark for sobble and Grass/Normal for grookie, only because he has a drum and unless they make Sound an actual typing, they make sound related things Normal.

All the starters are pure types for all three versions, not dual types this time. Also while the starters especially water look pretty awkward in the stills, they look at lot better in motion from what I've seen.
