I was actually going to say that the monkey looks like it could end up Grass/Ground as much as it could be Grass/Poison or Grass/Fighting.
Cannot unsee the PPG now.

Welp that was fast...

At least I know what I want for a nickname now.
1 - kas lul at that ppg shit
2 - can we please abbreviate as SnS so i dont have to unlearn monster hunter lingo
Well day 1 even if j beat the final four and never touch it again like all of them since like platinum or silver or something from forever ago.
If bunny isn’t fire/fighting cause Nintendo hates us, I’m guessing Fire/Steel based only on the sound of its footprints running across that metal.
I think the grass type will be /fighting though as I could see the little stick turning into like s combat pole.
Water dude I’m not sure, I want to say /Fairy but wasn’t the seal /fairy?
Now I really need a switch :/ when is switch v2 being released.
Fire/Fighting has been done three times and Blaziken remains the only good one.
Grass/Fighting was done in XY.
Primarina was Water/Fairy which isn't unique either because Tapu Fini was also Water/Fairy

Sobble is currently my favourite of the new starters in design. I wasn't a big fan of them at first but they're growing on me. But nothing will beat Rowlet. The best starter of all time. ALL TIME!!!
So since most of the other leaks about the game were true, and the Japanese art for the game has some fused pokeballs incorporated... Fusion from the leaks might also be true... which means........

Honestly kinda hoping for Grass/Dark, Fire/Steel and Water/Poison for the starters, not for any particular reason other then it could be fun :D
You know, plain water and grass starters are quite common but the one and only time a fire starter was pure fire was Gen 2. -not counting when sub types didnt exist of course.
I'm always surprised that they have never made the starters final evolution secondary type counter their weakness to the starter they are weak to (Water/Fire, Grass/Water, Fire/Grass).
Fire Steel is a pretty powerful combo defensively and it's unique to Heatran so I doubt they'll go that route.
They have done it with the secondary types reversing the primary type weakness (Chimchar Fire/Fighting vs. Empoleon Water/Steel) but I think they want to avoid including Fire/Water/Grass as subtypes for the starter trio because it blurs the lines for who is the "Fire Starter" vs. who is the "Water Starter"
Lol'd when priority-one in the footage was to show a scene where:
- A wild mon spawns from a random field encounter.
- It's Pikachu.
- The trainer weakens it in combat...
- ...then catches it by just using a ball from their inventory.
The world is big (for pokemon) and gorgeous. Doesn't actually look to resemble any real-life locale like prior regions, just some longass island/penninsula.
That, with the return of gyms, elite 4, and champion? Can't wait. Nintendo's stock will skyrocket, they're gonna move millions of holiday Switches.
From the sounds (and looks of it, note the clock tower) it's supposed to be Britain.
This will be the last try for me with Pokemon games, lets see if its really only for 3 year olds or they actually care somewhat about their older fans. I'll get the water starter but here is to hoping they try to change things up for the better.
Tiny, tiny, tiny bit disappointed that so far it doesn't show Pokemon following you. I know a few of you don't see it as a big thing but I like it. still got time I know.
