Or literally need a handful of terrible bad bounces from teams that outplayed them down the stretch to make it even this far?

No doubt Coach K is a legendary tier coach. But even the greats can't coach cool under pressure for 1 and dones because those kids simply don't have the experience to learn from yet. Thats what happened today, a legendary coach who generally keeps good to great talent for 3+ years out dueled a legendary coach who keeps great to amazing amazing players for 1 or 2 years.

I genuinely don't hate Duke, personally. It's the Yankee syndrome, or the Patriot syndrome.

I guess the Yankees/Patriots/Duke hatred stems from people just being sick of them always being there in some form or fashion every year, so they're happy when they get eliminated, lol

I think Coach K is great, and while I think this team should've steamrolled with what it's got, shit happens. It's still college basketball, and they're still kids, so no matter how amazing a couple of them on a team may be, if you run into someone hotter, there's not a lot ya can do.

Duke had a good year and I'm sure a lot of fans will be super salty/sad the season ended the way it did, but I'm sure they'll reload, and be fine next year!
