Paradox & the game's dev as of March 23rd and again May 1st say it's too early to reveal the VA cast.

As with Bloodlines 1, the game is fully voiced, and while neither Paradox nor Hardsuit will spill details, Mitsoda boasts that Bloodlines 2’s voice cast is “maybe the best of any game”.

The Malks are the fifth full clan that will be in Bloodlines 2 from launch, the others being Brujah, Venture, Toreador and Tremere.
All of my damn wants. Between this and BGIII it's like all of my dreams about games I've wanted are coming true.
Delayed to later 2020. This is fine, I was already concerned with how loaded early 2020 is with games already. Sounds like they're intent on not making the same mistake of the first game. Both good things. It's been 15+ years, and a complete surprise this is even coming out. A little longer won't hurt!

Here's the full letter. While I really, really want this game, I'm definitely good with a delay to 1) make the game better and 2) avoid the glut of games hitting in Feb-April 2020. It's not like I won't have 4 other major games to play in that time period while I wait for Bloodlines 2.
Awesome atmosphere for the trailer, although some of the animations are a bit janky. Was really hoping for a release date at the end of it.

Delayed into 2021. I'm not shocked. As long as CYberpunk actually comes out this year I'm more than happy with waiting for this. Something about the wording on the restructuring has me concerned, but Wait and see I guess.
It does feel a little more ominous than most, doesn't it? It does feel weird that they announced the game in Q1 2019 for a Q1 2020 release, when you would think they would have a pretty good idea of how much longer they needed. I wonder if there were some funding issues that they were looking to alleviate by showing the level of public excitement in the game.
The writing was the strong point of the first game, and those guys are still on board, so I imagine the game will tell a great story even if the game is a bit janky. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to this 100%, as I'd rather play a late game than a broken game.
Well the details came out. Interesting (and concerning)

Well, that's certainly some news. Mitsoda returning was one of the primary reasons I had some faith in this game. Of course, how much of the narrative could still be left to develop at this point? I have to imagine that's all but done. Still, getting rid of the face of the project at this point is certainly not a good sign.
Also, yes, I was wondering about the fingerless gloves. That makes sense now.
A different game, Vampire: the Masquerade - Shadows of New York, is coming out September 10th. It's the visual novel sequel to Coteries of New York, which was worth a play through if you're a V:tM fan. Game play trailer:

The bad news continues to come in. Another senior staff is off the project. Writer at that. Don't know any of her work, but this is already a shit show. I wouldn't be shocked if they outright cancelled it.
Even if it does come out and is even halfway decent would be a feat.

what a clusterfuck
what kind of projects see this kind of brain drain from leading creative talent this late into a development cycle
