Eh, when you get into DC comics you get used to continuity ultimately getting trashed every 10-20 years.

He's also anti-vax so fuck him and his supremely mid movie.
He’s basically been insinuating that The Rock refused to have anything to do with a Black Adam/Shazam collab and beyond that, Rock had been demanding to WB that the focus on the DCEU going forward should be on Black Adam and a returning Cavill as Superman. Of course now it looks like none of these are gonna happen.
Just like "fetch," they should stop trying to make the DCEU happen.
Rock was kinda out of line/out of touch if he didn't want Black Adam connecting to Shazam.
I'd also really like it if they could just go back to calling him Captain Marvel. I know why they won't, but it's so dumb to make his name the thing that he can't say without losing his powers.
I don't think DC has really used the name Captain Marvel for him since they got the rights in the 70s.
I mean they were still using it all the way until New 52.

I know they completely dropped it then, but I'm pretty sure up until that point they never really advertised him as Captain Marvel to avoid copyright disputes. He would be acknowledged as such in the comics but promotional material referred to him as Shazam.
Edit : a quick googling show that DC got a cease and desist from Marvel in 1974 and ever since then they stopped advertising him under the Captain Marvel name.
In a twist on that, Marvel actually only made Mar-Vell when someone realized the trademark on the Captain Marvel name hadn't been renewed after DC's lawsuit against Fawcett.
There's a panel in a Captain Marvel (Carol) comic from a few years ago where she has the reality gem and is using it to see all the other Captain Marvels across the multiverse and one is only half-seen but it's clearly Shazam.
